Cucumber Mint Detox Water

A wonderfully refreshing and hydrating infused water that's not only delicious but also provides a gentle, natural cleanse. It's incredibly simple to prepare and a fantastic way to encourage more water intake throughout your day. Ingrédients
  

  • 1 large cucumber thinly sliced
  • 10-15 fresh mint leaves lightly bruised (clapped between hands)
  • 4 cups 1 liter plain filtered water, chilled
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Optional additions: 1/2 lemon or lime thinly sliced; a few ginger slices
  • In a large pitcher or glass infuser bottle combine the thinly sliced cucumber and lightly bruised mint leaves.
  • If using add the lemon/lime slices or ginger

Method
 

  1. Pour in the chilled filtered water.
  2. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours (or overnight for stronger flavor) to allow the flavors to infuse.
  4. Serve chilled over ice (optional). You can refill the pitcher with water 1-2 times using the same ingredients before they lose their flavor.
